Used Fitness Gym Equipment Vs. New

To us the answer is a no brainer..  Even some of the larger fitness chains have now learned that buying Used Refurbished Fitness Equipment is a great way to save money and still get the latest models that look like new.

One would think that manufactures like Life Fitness, Precor, Free Motion, Star Trac, Etc. would be very upset that we are selling their brands of fitness equipment for 40% less. Just the opposite, we work very close with the manufactures purchasing their trade in equipment, making it easier for their customers to purchase equipment from them.

Will the equipment be just like new when we get it? For the most part the equipment will look as close to new as possible. Occasionally you may fine a chip or scratch here and there, but for sure nothing major. Gyms have told us that their members never realized it was now new. 

How about repairs and warranties?   Things happen so we can’t say that we never had a problem with a machine, but our percentage of machines that come with a problem is less then equipment that comes to you new in a box.  All of our equipment is tested twice before it is shipped out from our shop.

As far as warranties, we have surveyed our gym owners and that say that they would rather save the money up front then to pay more for a longer warranty.  Most gyms do their own repairs and normally parts are not that expensive.  With a savings of $3000.00 or more it is not an issue.

How long will it last? In our refurbishing process there is no checking for worn parts, the machine is totally striped down to the frame and rebuilt with new manufacturer parts.  When you get your machine it will be ready to go back into action working 15Hrs. per day 7 days a week .

Buying Used and Refurbished Fitness Gym Equipment Just Makes Good Cents.    For a gym on a budget or a gym looking to add more equipment to their exercise floor, the money you save could go towards membership promotions, Extra trainers, gym upgrades and maintenance, or anything else you would not normally afford.
